House Bill 4127

As many of you are aware, the Texas State Legislature recently enacted House Bill 4127 issuing guidelines for the purchase of playground equipment.

As of September 1st 2009, playground equipment purchased with public funds must comply with the provisions of ASTM Standard F1487-07ael. Additionally, surfacing must comply with the provisions of ASTM Standard F2223-04el. To read House Bill 4127 in its entirety click here:index/safety/HB04127F _2_.pdf.

All Miracle Recreation equipment is designed, manufactured and installed to comply with the applicable provisions of ASTM Standard F1487-07ael. 

Any surfacing we provide, meets the standards for surfacing as noted in ASTM 2223-04el. Our safety surfacing meets all standards for fall height protection and ADA guidelines for accessibility.

In addition to meeting ASTM guidelines, Miracle Recreation equipment conforms to the standards of CPSC, IPEMA and 
CPSIA 2008(index/safety/Miracle Recreation CPSIA Announcement.pdf).

We are BuyBoard members and a TXMAS approved vendor. We can provide a "Buy American" certificate for anyone purchasing equipment under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act.
