ADA / Accessibility Issues

Building a playground that is fun and accessible for kids of all abilities is an important consideration when designing your community's new playground.  By the Americans with Disabilities Act all playgrounds must have a certain amount of ground-level components available for use by all kids, no matter their ability.

The Community Build Program

The Community Build program allows your community to save big on installation costs by recruiting volunteers from your organization or community to help build their playground!  When you choose to Community Build your neighborhood's playground, you will be hiring an experienced playground installer to come to your site during the days of installation to both teach your group how to build a Miracle playsystem, and to supervise the work of the volunteers to make sure that both the installation process and the final playground is both safe and fun.  You will receive an installation plan from Park Place detailing the steps that need to be taken, starting in the weeks leading up to installation - stuff like receiving the equipment from the manufacturer to what kind of tools you should be putting together.  The Community Build program is both an economical and rewarding way to build community and get the playground of your dreams ready for play.
