Christ Episcopal

The Christ Episcopal Church is both family-centered and blessed with a beautiful setting, so a play space that complements both aspects was important.  

The playground was planned as a key component of the church’s 1.6-acre campus extension that facilitated the community outreach ministry.  

Because children from the church, the neighborhood, and a nearby respite care facility were expected to enjoy the playground, cooling turf surfaces and integrated shade features were important to enhancing the safety and usability of the space.   

The green color palette was selected to reflect the natural greens of the grass and local trees in the church’s historic location.
